Z njimi se lahko dobro za\u0161\u010ditimo pred pogledi, hrupom in onesna\u017eenjem. Potrebujejo redno obrezovanje, da ne zrastejo previsoko. Ciprese obrezujemo od sredine aprila do konca avgusta. Vsako leto jih lahko obre\u017eemo do trikrat. Ker rastejo relativno hitro, obrezovanja ne smemo zanemariti ali opustiti, sicer bodo zrasle previsoko. Previsokih \u017eivih mej ne smemo kraj\u0161ati za ve\u010d kot tretjino, sicer bodo izgubile privla\u010den videz, starej\u0161e rastline pa lahko zaradi premo\u010dnega skraj\u0161evanja propadejo.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"line-height: 18.0pt;background: white;margin: 12.0pt 0cm 12.0pt 0cm\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Verdana',sans-serif;color: #3b3b3b\">Cipres nikoli ne smemo obrezovati na na\u010din, da posegamo v starej\u0161i del drevesa, kjer ni ve\u010d listov. Na starih vejah se ne bodo razvili novi poganjki in videz \u017eive meje bo trajno pokvarjen.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"line-height: 18.0pt;background: white;text-align: start;margin: 12.0pt 0cm 12.0pt 0cm\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Verdana',sans-serif;color: #3b3b3b\">Obrezujemo ob straneh in po vrhu, pri tem oblikujemo tako, da je spodnji del \u017eive meje \u0161ir\u0161i kot zgornji. Tako bomo zagotovili, da bodo ciprese po vsej vi\u0161ini dobile dovolj svetlobe in se ne bodo ogolile.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"line-height: 18.0pt;background: white;text-align: start;margin: 12.0pt 0cm 12.0pt 0cm\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Verdana',sans-serif;color: #3b3b3b\">\u010ce postane \u017eiva meja iz cipres previsoka, jo lahko skraj\u0161amo za najve\u010d eno tretjino vi\u0161ine. \u010ce skraj\u0161amo za ve\u010d, se vrh \u017eive meje ne bo ve\u010d obrasel in bo imel neprijeten videz. Preveliko skraj\u0161anje lahko vodi tudi v propad cipres, \u010de so te \u017ee starej\u0161e. Ciprese lahko po vi\u0161ini skraj\u0161amo od sredine marca do za\u010detka nove rasti.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"line-height: 18.0pt;background: white;text-align: start;margin: 12.0pt 0cm 12.0pt 0cm\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Verdana',sans-serif;color: #3b3b3b\">Pred vsakim obrezovanjem preverimo, ali so v \u017eivi meji ptice naredile gnezdo.
